TRAINING IN PHUKET

Boxing classes in Phuket for beginners and strikers

Boxing at Lions suits total beginners who want real hand technique, Muay Thai fighters who need sharper boxing layers, and anyone who wants a serious conditioning session without gimmicks.

Classes run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 18:00 — easy to stack after a morning Muay Thai session or for office workers on the island.

Coach Ash brings UK high-level amateur and professional camp experience — not a fitness instructor playing boxer.

Pure boxing gyms are rare on Soi Ta-iad compared to Muay Thai. Lions' dedicated boxing program gives you ring craft inside a full fight gym — so you can cross-train wrestling or BJJ the same day if you choose.

Search terms like boxing classes Phuket beginners should lead to coached pad rounds and defense, not only heavy bag cardio. Lions teaches boxing as a martial art linked to our MMA and Muay Thai programs.

Drop-in 450 THB. Bring wraps; gloves available on site. Tell WhatsApp your experience level for pad holder pairing.

COACHING

Boxing coach credentials

Ash began coaching amateur boxers aged 10–15, then worked at Steve Foster's gym alongside European champions before joining Joe Gallagher's camp — Ring Magazine Trainer of the Year — training with Lawrence Okolie, Zelfa Barrett, Tasha Jonas, and others. That pedigree shows in how he corrects your jab and feet.
