Friday night at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Dzhabir Dzhabrailov put on a performance that will be replayed for years. The 21-year-old welterweight — now 7–0 with five consecutive first-round stoppages — headlined ONE Fight Night 42 against undefeated American Chase "Mannimal" Mann in a battle between two of the division's brightest futures. It didn't go to a second round.
The Fight
Mann came out firing and landed the opening shot of the night — a sharp right hook that dropped Dzhabrailov early in the first round. For a moment, it looked like the American was about to hand the young Chechen his first career loss. The crowd at Lumpinee went quiet.
It didn't last long. Dzhabrailov climbed to his feet, shook off the cobwebs, and walked Mann down with composed, controlled pressure. Then it happened: a thunderous left hook that buckled Mann's knees and put him on the canvas. Dzhabrailov pounced immediately, landing two clean hammerfists before the referee waved it off.
Result: Dzhabir Dzhabrailov by KO (left hook + hammerfists) — Round 1, 2:31.
The Fighter
Born in Chechnya and raised in Moscow, Dzhabrailov relocated to Turkey so his brother could receive medical treatment — and it was there that he found his way into ONE Championship under the guidance of star fighter Halil Amir. He started wrestling at age eight, trained boxing for four years, and now combines all of it into one of the most complete and explosive skill sets in the welterweight division.
Since signing with ONE in mid-2024, the results have been relentless. His first ONE appearance ended in 20 seconds. Since then, he's gone through every opponent in front of him without ever seeing a second round. Friday's win over Mann — himself undefeated before this fight — was his most complete performance yet: showing composure after a knockdown, patience in the comeback, and finishing instincts that very few fighters at any level possess.
What's Next
The win sets up what ONE fans have been waiting for: Dzhabrailov as the next challenger for two-division ONE World Champion Christian "The Warrior" Lee's welterweight title. If that fight gets made, it will be one of the most anticipated bouts ONE has put together in years.
